When I think of Johnny Carson I am reminded of the interview he gave to Helen Hayes, the
“first lady” of the screen. She was going on in the interview and the censor grew a
lax, for after all this was the sweet nice Helen Hayes. Then in response to what to you think
of So and So she blurted out “she’s a bitch” and within a second or so you heard the BEEEP
of the censor too late.
However, because of his popularity and her ganduer, no one at NBC or the FCC attempted
to censor or fine him.

He was on my list for this year’s dead pool, but the game doesn’t start until Feb 1. Damn, I wish he had hung in another couple of weeks.
