Retreat!
It was nice to get away for a few days. I didn’t miss my email or my cell phone reception at all.
I played with babies, sat in the hot tub, sat among the trees, slept, read, chatted, cried, hiked, drank from a spring, cuddled, hugged, kissed, laughed, sang, danced and loved.
Not bad for three days away from the City.

First of all I was wondering what had happenned to you over the weekend.
Your enjoyment reminded me of what the former pitcher Nolan Ryan used to do. After he made his big money in baseball and while still in the game, he built a several room stone house with a fireplace on a distant part of his ranch. No running water to the house, but a faucet was close by. No electricity was ran to the house, and above all even in those days he had no phone to the cabin at all.
Why? So he could get away from it all and not hear the phone ring.

What a fabulous idea Mr. Ryan had. That explains some of how his son had the capacity to be such a great, level headed guy (at least in my admitedly limited experience with him).
I should keep that sort of thing in mind, just in case I ever have some land with room for an extra little house!
